He became a global fixture through the Marvel Cinematic Universe as James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes, first appearing in Captain America: The First Avenger and later evolving into the Winter Soldier across multiple films and series.

On television, Stan built early momentum with recurring roles such as Carter Baizen on Gossip Girl and the Mad Hatter on Once Upon a Time, before taking on more prestige-driven projects.
