Seth Grahame-Smith

Seth Grahame-Smith (born January 4, 1976, in Rockville Centre on Long Island, New York) is an American writer and screen storyteller known for blending pop culture with sharp genre twists. He has also worked as a film producer, helping bring his offbeat ideas from page to screen.

Writing under his own name—while born Seth Jared Greenberg—Grahame-Smith broke through with best-selling novels that reimagined classic history and literature, including Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. Both titles later became feature-film adaptations, expanding his audience beyond publishing.

On television, he helped shape the comedic voice of MTV’s scripted series The Hard Times of RJ Berger, serving as co-creator, head writer, and executive producer. His work often leans into high-concept premises grounded by character-driven humor.

Through Katzsmith Productions with partner David Katzenberg, Grahame-Smith has continued developing film and TV projects. Among his notable credits is Rolling with Dad, reflecting his ongoing presence as a writer across formats.
