Shaum S. Sengupta

Shaum S. Sengupta (also credited as Shyam Sundar Sengupta, Shyam S. Sengupta, and Shaum Sengupta) is a Fairbanks, Alaska–born screen artist best known for his work in production, with additional credits as a writer. Across film, TV, and digital projects, he has built a reputation for shepherding distinctive, audience-facing stories from concept to release.

His producing slate includes the BAFTA-winning IMMORTALITY and Annapurna’s BAFTA-nominated TELLING LIES. He has also contributed to Emmy-nominated ABC’s BOONDOGGLE, Netflix and The Lonely Island’s BASH BROTHERS, and 20th Century Fox’s SMALL SHOTS, among other titles.

Beyond the set, Sengupta’s background spans years in executive roles and public-facing industry work, including appearances on panels at Comic-Con and SAG. His projects have screened at more than 100 film festivals, and his online releases have collectively drawn close to a billion views—underscoring both critical recognition and wide-reaching popular impact.
