Shay Hatten
Shay Hatten (also known as 谢伊·哈顿) is an American screenwriter and producer recognized for shaping big-scale action and franchise storytelling. Born on March 1, 1993, in Oakland, California, he has become a notable voice in contemporary genre cinema, particularly in high-energy thrillers and ambitious cinematic universes.
Hatten gained wide attention through his work on the John Wick series, contributing to John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019) and later John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023). His writing is also associated with Zack Snyder’s action-heavy projects, including Army of the Dead (2021) and its companion film Army of Thieves (2021).
In 2023, Hatten expanded his blockbuster credentials with Rebel Moon, continuing the saga with Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver (2024). He is additionally credited on the latter as a “Villager,” highlighting an on-screen appearance alongside his behind-the-camera work.
