Sheeba Chaddha (born June 8, 1973, in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh) is an Indian screen and stage performer known for bringing warmth, wit, and lived-in realism to character roles across film, television, and theatre.
Over the years, Chaddha has become a dependable presence in contemporary Hindi cinema, often anchoring stories as a sharp-eyed mother, aunt, or neighbour with emotional depth. Her work earned major recognition with Filmfare nominations for Best Supporting Actress for Badhaai Do (2022) and Doctor G (2022), and she won for Badhaai Do.
Her notable credits include Badhaai Do (as Baby Thakur), Sharmaji Namkeen (as Manju Gulati), Maja Ma (as Pam Hansraj), and Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2: Agni Pariksha (as (Sheela) Thakur Ji). She has also appeared in Trial Period (Mamiji), Companion (Leena Behl), Rabia and Olivia (Rabiya’s Mother), and Bad Newz (Vishni Chadha).
