Simon Crawford Collins

Simon Crawford Collins (born April 5, 1967) is a UK screen producer widely regarded as one of the most seasoned figures in television drama. Known for steering high-impact series with broad audience appeal, he has helped shape modern British drama through both hands-on producing and senior leadership roles.

Collins served as Joint Managing Director at Kudos, where he played a pivotal part in the company’s rapid ascent. He was central to building its reputation for ambitious, premium drama, helping guide projects from development through production at a time when Kudos was becoming a major force in the industry.

Among his most notable achievements is developing and producing Kudos’ breakthrough hit Spooks, the BAFTA-winning, multi-award international success. He followed that momentum by producing the stylish con-artist drama Hustle, and later executive producing the acclaimed genre-bending sequel series Ashes to Ashes.
