Sofia Hublitz
Sofia Hublitz (born June 1, 2000, in Richmond, Virginia) is an American screen actress recognized for bringing sharp intelligence and emotional realism to contemporary film and television. She is best known for playing Charlotte Byrde on Netflix’s acclaimed crime drama Ozark (2017–2022), a breakout role that introduced her to a global audience.
Across the series, Hublitz helped anchor the Byrde family’s escalating tensions, earning attention for a performance that balanced teenage vulnerability with hard-earned resilience. Her work on Ozark remains her signature credit and a key reason she is widely associated with the show’s tense, character-driven storytelling.
Beyond the series, Hublitz has expanded her range with roles in features and shorts including Ida Red (as Darla Walker), What Breaks the Ice (as Sammy), Brain Freeze (as Carrie), Taxon, and Hunting Season (as Tag). She also appeared earlier on Horace and Pete as Young Sylvia, signaling her versatility from an early stage.
With a growing filmography and an international profile—reflected in alternate name spellings such as 소피아 허블리츠 and ソフィア・フブリッツ—Hublitz continues to build momentum as a compelling presence in modern American acting.
