Souheila Yacoub

Souheila Yacoub (born June 29, 1992, in Geneva, Switzerland) is a Swiss screen and stage performer known for bold, contemporary roles and an international career that spans film, television, and theatre-making. Before acting, she trained as a rhythmic gymnast, a background that informs her physical presence on screen.

She first gained wider public attention after being crowned Miss Suisse Romande in 2012, then shifted her focus to performance. Yacoub went on to build momentum in European cinema, appearing in projects such as Climax (2018) and the Canal+ miniseries Savages (2019), where her work helped establish her as a distinctive new voice.

In recent years, her profile has continued to rise with acclaimed films including Making Of (2023) and a major franchise turn in Dune: Part Two (2024), where she plays Shishakli. Her notable credits also include The Balconettes (Ruby), Before We Collapse (Pablo), Rise (Sabrina), Dammi (Hafzia), Planet B (Nour), and The Carpenter's Son (Lilith).
