Stephen McFeely (born November 12, 1969, in San Francisco, California) is an American screenwriter and producer best known for blockbuster storytelling crafted with longtime writing partner Christopher Markus. Together, they have become defining architects of modern franchise cinema, with scripts that have generated billions at the global box office.

McFeely rose to international prominence through their work on The Chronicles of Narnia films, then helped shape the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a run of pivotal entries. Their credits include the first three Captain America movies—The First Avenger, The Winter Soldier, and Civil War—as well as Thor: The Dark World, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, one of the highest-grossing films ever released.

Beyond feature films, McFeely and Markus expanded MCU lore for television by co-creating ABC’s Agent Carter. He has also appeared on-screen in Marvel-related specials such as Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe and Marvel's Captain America: 75 Heroic Years, and made small cameo roles in MCU productions.
