Steve-O
Steve-O (born Stephen Gilchrist Glover on June 13, 1974, in Wimbledon, London, England) is an American screen artist best known for high-risk, comedic stunt work that helped define early-2000s pop culture. Also credited as Steve Glover, Stephen Glover, and Steve 'Steve-O' Glover, he became a recognizable on-screen personality through his fearless, often outrageous performances.
His breakout fame is closely tied to MTV’s Jackass, where his willingness to push boundaries made him a standout presence. That notoriety carried into the franchise’s feature films, including Jackass: The Movie and Jackass Number Two, where he frequently appears as himself and leans into a persona built on shock, slapstick, and spectacle.
Beyond the core series, Steve-O has expanded his profile through specials and documentary-style projects such as Steve-O: The Greatest Hits, Steve-O: The Early Years, and NO PAIN IN VAIN - The Shocking Life of Steve-O. He has also appeared in related stunt-comedy titles like Jackass 2.5, Stupidity, and The Dudesons Movie.
With a career rooted in performance art, endurance, and self-aware humor, Steve-O remains a defining figure in modern stunt entertainment—an actor and personality whose screen legacy is inseparable from the Jackass phenomenon.
