Sue Naegle
Sue Naegle (born July 2, 1969) is an American entertainment executive and producer known for shaping premium television and film content at the highest levels of the industry.
Naegle rose to wide prominence as President of HBO Entertainment, a role she held from 2008 to 2013. During her tenure, she helped guide HBO’s programming strategy in an era when the network’s originals became a defining force in modern TV.
After leaving HBO in 2013, Naegle moved into independent production, launching her own company to develop and produce new projects. She later expanded her influence in film as Chief Content Officer at Annapurna Pictures, where she oversaw creative direction and content development for the studio.
Recognized for her leadership and sharp creative instincts, Naegle remains a notable figure behind the scenes—bridging executive strategy and storytelling across television and cinema.
