Taron Egerton

Taron Egerton (also credited as Taron David Egerton; Japanese: タロン・エジャトン) is a Welsh actor born on November 10, 1989, in Birkenhead, Merseyside, England, UK. Trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he built early momentum through stage work, including National Theatre Live: The Last of the Haussmans, before breaking through on screen.

Egerton became widely recognized as the sharp-tongued recruit Gary “Eggsy” Unwin in Kingsman: The Secret Service, a role that helped establish him as a leading man in action-comedy. He has since balanced franchise energy with character-driven choices across film and television.

His credits include the wartime drama Testament of Youth as Edward Brittain, alongside high-profile projects such as Carry-On (as Ethan Kopek) and She Rides Shotgun (as Nathan Mcclusky). He has also lent his voice to Johnny in titles like Come Home, For Gunter’s Eyes Only, and Minions & More Volume 1, showcasing range beyond live-action performances.
