Teri Polo

Teri Polo (Theresa Elizabeth Polo, born June 1, 1969, in Dover, Delaware) is an American screen actress recognized for her grounded, relatable performances across film and television. She is also known internationally under the Arabic rendering تری پولو.

Polo became widely familiar to mainstream audiences as Pam Byrnes in the blockbuster comedy Meet the Parents, reprising the role in Meet the Fockers and later Little Fockers. The part showcased her ability to balance warmth and wit opposite an ensemble cast, helping anchor the franchise’s family-driven humor.

Beyond that signature role, she has moved between genres with ease, appearing in science fiction (The Arrival), thrillers such as Domestic Disturbance, and dramatic features including Beyond Borders. Her credits also include titles like The Beacon, Straight From the Heart, and Full of It.

On television, Polo has been a notable presence in both comedy and drama, including the sitcom I’m with Her and the acclaimed political series The West Wing. Her career reflects a steady versatility—building a filmography that spans studio hits, character-driven stories, and long-running series work.
