Thaneth Warakulnukroh

Thaneth Warakulnukroh (also known as Thaneth “Ek” Warakulnukroh or เอก ธเนศ) is a Thai screen artist and music industry veteran born on September 9, 1958, in Samut Songkhram, Thailand. Widely recognized for his calm authority on screen, he has built a long-running career that bridges acting with influential work behind the microphone and in the studio.

Beyond film and television, Thaneth is known as a singer, songwriter, record producer, and DJ. He also helped shape modern Thai pop and rock as a founder and owner of Music Bugs Company, a record label associated with early releases from major Thai acts such as Bodyslam, Big Ass, Labanoon, and Friday.

As an actor, Thaneth has appeared in acclaimed titles across genres, including Bad Genius as Lynn’s father, Pop Aye as Thana, and One for the Road as DJ Charnwut. His other notable credits include Pattaya Heat (Chai), Homestay (Psychiatrist Guardian), Tee Shot: Ariya Jutanugarn (Somboon Jutanugarn), Haunted Tales (Mystery Taxi Driver), and Trouble Makers.
