Theo Von
Theo Von (born March 19, 1980, in Covington, Louisiana) is an American screen artist best known for blending stand-up sensibilities with acting, podcasting, and TV personality work. Performing under the name Theo Von, he has built a career around sharp observation, offbeat storytelling, and a distinctly Southern point of view.
Raised in southern Louisiana—an upbringing he often frames with wry affection—Von’s comedic voice carries the rhythms of home while leaning into the strange, funny details of everyday life. That perspective has helped him connect with audiences across live stages, on-camera projects, and long-form conversations.
On screen, he is frequently seen as himself in comedy specials and documentaries, including Theo Von: Regular People, Theo Von: No Offense, and Dying Laughing. He has also taken on character roles, such as Garvey in Sweet Dreams, Beauregard in The Comments, and appearances in projects like InAPPropriate Comedy and Busboys.
Also credited as Theodor Capitani von Kurnatowski III (and known in Arabic as تئو وان), Theo Von continues to expand his on-screen footprint while staying rooted in the comedic identity that made him a standout.
