Tim Allen

Tim Allen (born June 13, 1953, in Denver, Colorado) is an American screen and voice performer whose career bridges stand-up comedy, hit television, and blockbuster family films. Also credited as Timothy Allen Dick, he is widely recognized for turning everyday humor into mainstream entertainment.

Allen became a household name through the long-running sitcom Home Improvement, where his comedic persona and relatable charm helped define 1990s TV. That success opened the door to major studio projects, establishing him as a dependable leading man in comedies and family features.

On the big screen, he is especially celebrated as the voice of Buzz Lightyear in Pixar’s Toy Story franchise, including Toy Story, Toy Story 3, and Toy Story 5. He also earned fan-favorite status in Galaxy Quest as Jason Nesmith, and appeared in films such as Big Trouble, The Shaggy Dog, For Richer or Poorer, and Wild Hogs.

Known internationally (including as 提姆·艾倫), Allen remains a familiar presence thanks to his distinctive voice work and enduring appeal across generations of viewers.
