Tom DeSanto

Tom DeSanto (born January 1, 1968) is an American film producer and screenwriter best known for shaping big, fan-driven franchises. Working at the intersection of studio filmmaking and pop-culture storytelling, he has built a career around event-scale genre entertainment.

DeSanto is closely associated with the modern X-Men era, appearing in multiple behind-the-scenes and promotional projects tied to the series. Credits such as Starz Inside: Comic Books Unbound, Evolution X - The Making of X-Men, The Secret Origin of X-Men, and X-Men: The Mutant Watch highlight his role in developing story and shepherding production, while also reflecting his visibility as a creative executive in the franchise’s media ecosystem.
