Tom Hiddleston

Tom Hiddleston (also credited as Thomas William Hiddleston) is an English screen and stage actor, born February 9, 1981, in Westminster, London. He became a global name through the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where his charismatic turn as Loki began in Thor and continued through major crossover films like The Avengers, with later appearances including a brief, uncredited nod in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Before blockbuster fame, Hiddleston built momentum in auteur-driven cinema, notably in Joanna Hogg’s understated dramas Unrelated and Archipelago. In 2011 he broadened his profile with high-profile projects such as War Horse and Midnight in Paris, earning a BAFTA Rising Star nomination and signaling a career that could move between intimate character work and studio scale.

His filmography spans genre and biography alike, from gothic romance to music biopic and adventure leads, while TV audiences embraced his acclaimed performance in The Night Manager, which brought major awards recognition. On stage, he has remained a committed theatre actor, collecting Olivier and Tony nominations across Shakespeare and modern drama.
