Travis Fimmel

Travis Fimmel (born July 15, 1979, in Echuca, Victoria, Australia) is an Australian screen actor who first gained international visibility through modeling before shifting his focus to film and television. His rugged on-screen presence and understated intensity have made him a sought-after lead across action, drama, and genre storytelling.

Fimmel became a global fan favorite as Ragnar Lothbrok in the History series Vikings (2013–2017), a performance that helped define the show’s cultural impact. He later brought grounded heroism to the fantasy blockbuster Warcraft (2016) as Commander Anduin Lothar, expanding his profile in major studio cinema.
