Travis Nelson

Travis Nelson (born September 8, 1990, in Fort St. John, British Columbia) is a Canadian screen actor known for versatile work across film and television. He has gained wider recognition for playing Riley in the comedy series The Lake, where his character becomes a key romantic counterpoint to the show’s lead.

Nelson began acting professionally in 2009 with a TV debut on Wild Roses. He quickly moved into features, appearing as Chuck in the cult horror-comedy Tucker and Dale vs. Evil (2010), and also took on early TV-movie work in Meteor Storm the same year. His career has since balanced genre projects with character-driven drama.

He expanded into innovative storytelling as Brandon Hessner in the narrative mobile series Haunting Melissa, later revisiting the role in the horror-thriller Dark Hearts. In 2020, he led the drama series I Am Syd Stone as Syd Stone and became a familiar face in thriller television, portraying Blake Collins in Obsession: Stalked by My Lover and Obsession: Escaping My Ex.
