Trevor Macy

Trevor Macy is an American film producer best known for championing modern genre storytelling. As the founder of Intrepid Pictures, he has helped bring a steady run of suspense and horror projects to the screen, often pairing sharp concepts with filmmaker-driven execution.

Macy’s producing credits include the mystery-thriller The Raven (2012) and the breakout supernatural hit Oculus (2013). He continued building a strong reputation in elevated horror with Hush (2016) and the Stephen King adaptation Gerald's Game (2017), projects noted for their tension, character focus, and inventive set pieces.

In the late 2010s, Macy expanded his slate with Eli (2019) and the ambitious King continuation Doctor Sleep (2019). He later returned to King’s world with The Life of Chuck (2024), and is also credited for an uncredited on-screen appearance as a mourner.
