Vidyut Jammwal
Vidyut Jammwal (born December 10, 1980, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh) is an Indian screen actor best known for high-impact action roles in Hindi cinema. Often positioned as a modern-day Bollywood action star, he has built a reputation for athletic performances driven by disciplined physical training.
A lifelong martial artist, Jammwal began learning Kalaripayattu—the traditional martial art of Kerala—at the age of three. That foundation has shaped his on-screen style, where agility and close-combat choreography are central to his appeal, helping him stand out in a genre that rewards authenticity.
His filmography spans popular titles such as Commando - A One Man Army (as Karanvir Dogra), Force (as Vishnu), and Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2: Agni Pariksha (as Sameer Chaudhary), alongside appearances in Bullett Raja and IB 71. He has also worked beyond Hindi films, with roles in South Indian industries including Kollywood and Tollywood, notably Thuppakki.
