Vin Diesel
Vin Diesel (born July 18, 1967, in Alameda County, California) is an American screen actor and producer, also known as Mark Sinclair. A global box-office fixture, he is widely recognized for commanding, physical performances that helped shape modern action franchises.
After moving to New York, Diesel studied at Hunter College, where an interest in creative writing pushed him toward screenwriting and filmmaking. He broke through by creating his own work—writing, directing, producing, and starring in the short Multi-Facial and later the feature Strays—before landing higher-profile roles.
In the late 1990s he gained major attention with Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan as Private Caparzo. He soon became a dependable leading man, balancing crowd-pleasers like The Pacifier with high-octane vehicles such as xXx (Xander Cage) and the Riddick saga, including Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick.
Diesel has also built a notable voice-acting résumé, including The Iron Giant and later franchise work across film and games. Behind the camera, he expanded his influence through his company One Race Films, frequently producing projects built around his on-screen persona.
