Vincent Lindon

Vincent Lindon (also credited as 뱅상 랭동 and 文森林頓) is a French screen actor and filmmaker, born on July 15, 1959, in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine. Known for grounded intensity and emotional precision, he has built a career that moves easily between intimate dramas, mainstream hits, and distinctive auteur cinema.

Across decades on screen, Lindon has delivered memorable performances in films such as Betty Blue, La Belle Verte, Mademoiselle Chambon, and A Few Days with Me. His range also extends to family-friendly fare, including voice work as Lian-Chu in Dragon Hunters, while later roles like Like a Son and All That... for This?! underline his continuing versatility.

International recognition peaked with his acclaimed lead turn in The Measure of a Man (2015), earning him the Cannes Film Festival’s Best Actor prize, followed by France’s César Award for Best Actor and the IFFI Best Actor Award (Male) in India.
