William Houston
William Houston (also credited as Will Houston and known in Korean as 윌리엄 휴스턴) is an English screen actor born on July 19, 1968, in Sussex, England. Although English by birth, he spent much of his upbringing in Northern Ireland, an experience that helped shape the grounded, versatile presence he brings to film and television.
Houston trained at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, building a classical foundation that translates into precise character work on screen. He is widely recognized for supporting roles that add texture and credibility—often as authority figures, working men, or morally complex types—delivered with understated intensity.
Among his best-known credits are Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel (as the Herald at the Duel) and Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes films, where he appears as Constable Clark in both Sherlock Holmes and A Game of Shadows. His filmography also includes Fifty Dead Men Walking (Ray), Age of Heroes (Sgt. MacKenzie), Puffball (Tucker), Sawney: Flesh of Man (Charlie McGuire), and The Gambler (Pasha).
