Wunmi Mosaku

Wunmi Mosaku (also credited as Oluwunmi Mosaku and Oluwunmi Olapeju Mosaku) is a Nigerian-British screen actress born on July 31, 1986, in Zaria, Nigeria. Celebrated for emotionally precise performances and a commanding on-screen presence, she has built a career spanning British television, independent film, and major global franchises.

Mosaku first drew wide attention in the BBC Two miniseries Moses Jones, then became a familiar face to UK audiences through ITV’s Vera. Her reputation as a powerhouse performer was cemented when she won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the acclaimed TV film Damilola, Our Loved Boy.

Her international profile expanded with standout work in Luther and HBO’s Lovecraft Country, as well as film roles including His House, which brought major awards recognition. Mosaku also appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as TVA agent Hunter B-15 in Disney+’s Loki, with related credits such as Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Loki Season 2 and the 2021 Disney+ Day Special.
