Xavier Samuel
Xavier Samuel (born December 10, 1983, in Hamilton, Victoria) is an Australian screen and theatre actor known for shifting easily between intense drama, genre thrillers, and mainstream comedy. He first drew attention with emotionally charged performances in Australian cinema, building a reputation for grounded, character-driven work.
Among his early standout roles are Theo in 2:37 and Brent Mitchell in the cult horror hit The Loved Ones, followed by acclaimed turns in September as Ed Anderson and Newcastle as Fergus. Samuel’s international profile rose sharply when he played Riley in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, bringing a volatile edge to the blockbuster franchise.
