Ynon Kreiz

Ynon Kreiz (Hebrew: ינון קרייז) is an Israeli-American business leader best known for steering major entertainment and consumer brands. He is the current Chairman and CEO of Mattel, overseeing the company behind globally recognized toy and media properties.

Kreiz built his reputation through high-profile leadership roles across children’s and family entertainment. From 1997 to 2002, he served as Chairman and CEO of Fox Kids Europe, helping guide the network’s growth during a pivotal era for kids’ television.

He later led the television and digital production company Endemol as Chairman and CEO from 2008 to 2011, working at the intersection of international formats and evolving distribution. Continuing his focus on emerging platforms, he became chairman, CEO, and president of web video network Maker Studios from 2012 to 2016, reflecting the industry’s shift toward creator-driven digital content.

Across these roles, Kreiz has been associated with production strategy, brand building, and the transformation of entertainment from broadcast to digital—experience that informs his leadership at Mattel today.
