Yung Lean

Yung Lean (born July 18, 1996, in Södermalm, Stockholm) is the stage name of Swedish artist Jonatan Leandoer Håstad, also credited as Jonatan Leandoer and jonatan leandoer127. While widely recognized for shaping the early wave of cloud rap, Lean has also built a screen presence that blends music culture with character-driven appearances.

He first broke through internationally in 2013 when “Ginseng Strip 2002” surged online, setting the tone for a new internet-native sound. The momentum carried into releases that expanded his profile and aesthetic world, including Unknown Death 2002 and later projects that cemented his influence across music, fashion, and visual storytelling.

On screen, Lean often appears as himself in music-focused films and documentaries, including Circus Maximus, Yung Lean: In My Head, Sad Boys: White Marble Tour, and Yung Lean - Forever Yung Tour (London & Warsaw). His credits also include the voice appearance Music, Fashion, Film and the project STREETZ CALLING.

Lean has additionally taken on acting roles beyond the stage persona, notably as Arthur in Sacrifice and as the Wanted Man in Stranger, underscoring his crossover appeal as a modern screen artist.
