Yvette Nicole Brown (also known as 이베트 니콜 브라운) is an American screen actress and comedian born on August 12, 1971, in East Cleveland, Ohio. With a warm, quick-witted presence, she has become a familiar face across network sitcoms, studio comedies, and family entertainment.

Brown is widely recognized for playing Shirley Bennett on NBC’s Community (2009–2015), a performance that helped cement the series’ cult status and led to fan-favorite returns, including the Community Table Read. She also brought memorable supporting turns to films such as The Ugly Truth (as Dori Coleman) and Repo Men (as Rhodesia), while continuing her long-running association with Nickelodeon as Helen in Drake & Josh and the TV movie Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh.

Equally at home in franchise and family projects, Brown appears in titles like Muppets Haunted Mansion as The Driver and has been part of major ensemble hits including Avengers: Endgame. She’s also a sought-after voice performer, notably portraying Amanda Waller in the LEGO DC Super Hero Girls films, including Super-Villain High and Galactic Wonder.

Beyond acting, she’s a confident on-camera personality, hosting specials such as Disney’s Holiday Magic Quest, and continues to balance comedy, heart, and authority in roles across TV, film, and animation.
