Ziwe
Ziwerekoru “Ziwe” Fumudoh (born February 27, 1992), professionally known as Ziwe, is an American comedian, writer, and screen artist whose work blends sharp satire with cultural critique. She has built a distinctive voice by skewering politics, race, and the anxieties of young adulthood with fearless, fast-paced humor.
Her breakout concept began in 2017 with the YouTube series Baited with Ziwe, later reinvented in 2020 as an Instagram Live phenomenon. The format—disarmingly playful interviews that expose uncomfortable truths—helped Ziwe become a standout presence in modern comedy and a sought-after on-camera personality.
On screen, Ziwe is widely recognized as the host and face of Ziwe, and she frequently appears as herself across major talk and culture platforms, including Desus & Mero, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The View. Her notable credits also include Victoria's Secret: The Tour '23 and the documentary Black Renaissance: The Art and Soul of Our Stories.
Expanding beyond hosting, Ziwe has also taken on acting roles such as Audrey in Shell, continuing to broaden her range while keeping her signature comedic edge front and center.
