Aleksey Ryazantsev
Aleksey Ryazantsev (also credited as Aleksei Ryazantsev, Alexey Ryazantsev, and Алексей Рязанцев) was a Russian screen artist and production professional born on March 17, 1958, in Moscow, then part of the USSR. Working primarily behind the scenes, he became a familiar name in contemporary Russian film through his steady involvement in commercially successful projects.
Ryazantsev is best known for production work, but audiences also recognize him for brief, characterful on-screen appearances. He turned up in popular comedies and ensemble films, often in small roles that added texture and authenticity—whether as a school director, a cinema director, or other episodic parts.
His notable credits include Women vs Men, Women vs Men 2, Mommies, Mixed Feelings, Beremennyy, The Double, and Жига. На полной скорости. Across these titles, Ryazantsev’s career reflects the collaborative backbone of filmmaking: the kind of consistent craft that helps productions run smoothly and stories reach the screen.
