Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt (born William Bradley Pitt on December 18, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma) is an American actor and film producer whose career has spanned more than three decades. A consistent box-office draw, he has helped drive billions in worldwide ticket sales while earning major industry honors across film and television.

Pitt first broke through in the early 1990s, gaining attention with a brief but memorable turn in Thelma & Louise. He quickly moved into leading roles, including A River Runs Through It as Paul Maclean, and later showcased his range in projects like Twelve Monkeys as the volatile Jeffrey Goines and Snatch as bare-knuckle boxer Mickey O’Neil.

He became a modern blockbuster mainstay through Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s trilogy, playing Rusty Ryan in Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, and Ocean’s Thirteen, and also headlined films such as Meet Joe Black. His performances have brought multiple Academy Award nominations, and he won an Oscar for his supporting work in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Beyond acting, Pitt co-founded Plan B Entertainment, building a respected producing career that includes an Academy Award for Best Picture. His cultural impact has remained strong for years, cementing his status as one of Hollywood’s defining screen artists.
