Brad Winderbaum

Brad Winderbaum is an American producer and a key executive at Marvel Studios, where he leads the company’s streaming, television, and animation efforts. Previously, he served as Vice President of Production & Development, helping shape how Marvel builds and delivers stories beyond the big screen.

Winderbaum joined Marvel Studios during the making of its first feature, Iron Man, starting as an assistant to Louis D’Esposito. Early in his tenure, he helped pioneer Marvel’s immersive approach to marketing and fan engagement, contributing to behind-the-scenes content and interactive campaigns tied to major releases including Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, and The Avengers.

In his current leadership role, he has been instrumental in Marvel’s push into serialized storytelling and animation, guiding development and production across the studio’s TV slate since What If…? (2021). His work is frequently highlighted in franchise-making documentaries such as Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe and multiple episodes of Marvel Studios Assembled.

Winderbaum also helped introduce Marvel Spotlight, a label designed for select, more grounded series that can stand on their own with minimal ties to the wider MCU. He continues to appear in official companion content, including the Daredevil: Born Again podcast, reflecting his central role in Marvel’s evolving television strategy.
