Chris Long

Chris Long (also credited as Christopher Long) is an English screen artist known for his work behind the camera as a television producer and director.

Across high-profile series, Long has taken on leadership roles that shape both storytelling and production. He served as lead director and executive producer on the espionage drama The Americans, and later held the same responsibilities on Suspicion, helping define the tone and pace of each series from the top down.

Long has also built a notable relationship with Apple projects. After directing and executive producing the opening episode of Amazing Stories, he returned for Suspicion, marking his second series collaboration with the platform.

In 2019, he directed the pilot of The Right Stuff, underscoring his reputation for launching series with a clear visual identity and confident narrative setup.
