Clyde Phillips

Clyde Phillips (born October 3, 1958, in Dorchester, Boston, Massachusetts) is an American screenwriter and producer best known for shaping character-driven television with a sharp, suspenseful edge.

He is widely recognized for his writing and producing work on Dexter (2006), the acclaimed crime drama that became a defining series of its era. Phillips’ storytelling is often associated with high-stakes tension, moral complexity, and tightly constructed episodic arcs.
