Damon Wayans Jr.

Damon Wayans Jr. (also credited as Damon Kyle Wayans Jr.) is an American actor and comedian born on November 18, 1982, in Huntington, Vermont. Part of the influential Wayans entertainment family, he is the eldest son of Damon Wayans and the nephew of Keenen Ivory, Kim, Shawn, and Marlon Wayans.

Wayans Jr. broke through on television with his standout turn as Brad Williams on ABC’s Happy Endings, a performance that earned him a 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. He later became a fan favorite as Coach on Fox’s New Girl, showcasing his sharp timing and easy chemistry in ensemble comedy.

His film work spans studio comedies and voice roles, including Let’s Be Cops (Justin Chang), The Other Guys (Fosse), Dance Flick (Thomas), and How to Be Single (David). He also voiced Wasabi in Disney’s Big Hero 6, adding warmth and wit to the animated hit.
