Henry Lewis
Henry Lewis (born November 21, 1988, in Slough, Berkshire) is a British screen and stage artist best known for his sharp comic performances and for helping shape one of the UK’s most successful modern comedy brands. Working as both an actor and playwright, he has become closely associated with fast-paced farce, physical comedy, and ensemble storytelling.
Lewis is a co-founder of Mischief Theatre, the company behind the international hit The Play That Goes Wrong and a string of spin-offs and original productions including Peter Pan Goes Wrong, The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, Magic Goes Wrong, Groan Ups, Mind Mangler, and more. His work has helped bring theatrical “disaster comedy” to mainstream audiences on both sides of the Atlantic.
On screen, he’s widely recognized from The Goes Wrong Show as Robert Grove, and for his multi-role turns in Peter Pan Goes Wrong and A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong, where he juggles characters with quick changes and precise timing. He has also appeared in projects like The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin and VisionQuest.
Beyond scripted comedy, Lewis co-hosts ITV’s daytime game show Riddiculous, extending his stage-honed wit into television presenting.
