Javier Ambrossi
Javier Ambrossi (born June 24, 1984, in Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish screen artist known primarily for directing, while also working across writing, producing, and acting. Often credited as Javi Ambrossi and widely recognized as one half of Los Javis, he has become a defining voice in contemporary Spanish pop culture.
Ambrossi’s rise is closely linked to his long-running creative partnership with Javier Calvo. Together, they developed the stage hit La llamada and later brought it to the screen, showcasing a signature blend of humor, emotion, and musical energy. The duo expanded their impact with acclaimed television projects including Paquita Salas, Veneno, and La mesías, earning attention for bold storytelling and empathetic character work.
Before his high-profile directorial work, Ambrossi appeared in a range of on-screen roles, with credits spanning Sexy Killer: You'll Die for Her, The Bird Spider, El triunfo, and other titles such as En la misma cama and La parada. His multifaceted background continues to inform a directing style that feels both sharply modern and deeply human.
