Jeffrey Wright

Jeffrey Wright (born December 7, 1965, in Washington, D.C.) is an American screen and stage actor celebrated for intelligent, quietly commanding performances across film, television, and theater. He first became a major name through his award-winning turn as Belize in Angels in America, earning top honors on Broadway and again in the acclaimed HBO adaptation.

On the big screen, Wright has built a varied résumé that moves easily between prestige drama and mainstream franchises.
