Jodie Comer

Jodie Comer (born March 11, 1993, in Liverpool, Merseyside) is an English screen and stage actor known for sharp character work and fearless transformations. She first appeared on television in 2008, quickly building momentum through British series that showcased her range and emotional precision.

Comer’s profile rose with roles in My Mad Fat Diary and Doctor Foster, before leading the miniseries Thirteen. Global acclaim followed when she took on the unpredictable assassin Villanelle in Killing Eve (2018–2022), a performance that earned major industry recognition, including BAFTA and Emmy wins. She later won another BAFTA for her portrayal of a care worker in the TV film Help.

Her film work expanded with prominent parts in Free Guy and Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel, alongside credits such as The Bikeriders, The End We Start From, and Big Girl. On stage, Comer’s West End debut in the one-woman drama Prima Facie became a defining moment, collecting top theatre honors and culminating in a Tony Award after its Broadway run.
