Léa Seydoux
Léa Seydoux (also credited as Léa Hélène Seydoux-Fornier de Clausonne) is a French screen artist born on July 1, 1985, in Passy, Paris. A rare crossover talent, she moves easily between French auteur cinema and major Hollywood productions, earning multiple César nominations, Lumières wins, and international recognition for her range and intensity.
Seydoux began building momentum in the mid-2000s, first appearing in Girlfriends and then drawing attention in films such as The Last Mistress and On War. Her early French work—alongside roles in Lourdes and Belle épine—cemented her as a compelling presence, while high-profile English-language projects like Robin Hood expanded her global profile.
Her breakthrough arrived with the Cannes-winning Blue Is the Warmest Colour, where her performance helped secure a shared Palme d’Or and major acting honors. She later became a worldwide pop-culture fixture as Madeleine Swann in the James Bond films Spectre and No Time to Die, while continuing to choose daring work, including The Beast.
Beyond acting, Seydoux has maintained a strong fashion presence, appearing in top magazines and serving as a Louis Vuitton ambassador. She has also been honored by France with appointments in the Order of Arts and Letters and the National Order of Merit.
