Oliver Cooper

Oliver Cooper (born December 2, 1989, in Toledo, Ohio) is an American screen actor known for energetic, offbeat performances across film and television. At 19 he relocated to Los Angeles to chase acting full-time, landing early industry experience through an internship at CONAN while training in class.

Cooper’s breakout arrived fast: tipped off about an open search for new talent, he secured an audition for Todd Phillips-produced Project X—despite having no representation and only a phone-shot headshot. Cast as Costa in his first major try, he turned the role into a calling card and earned MTV Movie Award nominations for Best Comedic Performance and Best On-Screen Dirtbag.

He followed with notable screen work including Runner Runner (as Andrew Cronin) and a recurring arc on Showtime’s Californication. Expanding beyond acting, Cooper co-wrote and produced the indie feature Four Dogs, and later helped develop the Comedy Central pilot The King of Chicago.

His later credits include a memorable run on Amazon’s Red Oaks, plus roles in The Hangover Part III, The Front Runner, and Netflix’s Mindhunter. Additional appearances range from The Cleaner to Desert Quarantine and R, underscoring a career built on versatility and sharp comic timing.
