Victor Hadida
Victor Hadida is a French film producer best known for helping bring major international genre titles to wide audiences. In 1978, he and his brother Samuel Hadida co-founded Metropolitan Filmexport, an independent distribution company that grew into a key gateway for English-language cinema across the French-speaking market.
In 1990, the brothers launched Davis Films, a production banner that became closely associated with ambitious adaptations of video games for the big screen. Hadida’s producing and executive producing work has been central to shaping this space, balancing fan expectations with commercial scale.
Hadida is especially linked to the long-running Resident Evil franchise, serving as executive producer from the 2002 film onward and continuing through sequels such as Apocalypse (2004), Extinction (2007), Afterlife (2010), The Final Chapter (2016), and Welcome to Raccoon City (2021).
Beyond Resident Evil, his credits span dark fantasy, action, and prestige-leaning genre projects, including Silent Hill (2006), The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009), Solomon Kane (2009), The Expendables 3 (2014), In the Land of Saints and Sinners (2023), and The Crow (2024).
