Everybody Wants Some!!

Everybody Wants Some!! (2016) isn’t interested in tidy life lessons or big, manufactured turning points. What makes the humor land is how recognizably it’s built: the bravado that dissolves into insecurity, the rituals of bonding, the endless debates that are secretly about belonging. The film doesn’t mock its characters for caring about what seems trivial; it understands that in that in-between moment—no longer a kid, not yet settled—everything feels like a test. The comedy comes from watching them ace it, fail it, and laugh it off before the next round.
